  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to Escambia County; abolishing

  3         the Santa Rosa Island Authority; transferring

  4         its assets and liabilities to the county;

  5         providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  Chapters 24500, 1947, Laws of Florida;

10  25810, 1949, Laws of Florida; and 61-2797, 63-1322, 70-680,

11  75-366, 76-3, 76-283, 76-361, 76-362, 76-368, 76-371, 79-457,

12  83-407, 84-426, and 85-409, Laws of Florida, are repealed. The

13  Santa Rosa Island Authority is abolished, and its assets and

14  liabilities are transferred to Escambia County.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2004.
