17 and insert: (c) The Division of Financial Institutions and
18 Securities and the Division of Insurance are independent
19 divisions administratively housed within the Department of
20 Financial Services. For purposes of the budget, purchasing,
21 transactions involving real or personal property, and
22 personnel and regulatory matters, the division directors shall
23 exercise exclusive control over their division. Each of these
24 divisions shall have sufficient number of attorneys,
25 investigators, other professional personnel and administrative
26 personnel as determined annually in the appropriations
27 process. The department shall provide support services to
28 each division pursuant to an agreement entered into between
29 the Chief Financial Officer and the respective division
30 director.
