15         On page 2, line 3, after the period

16

17  insert:  With regard to the distribution of premium taxes, a

18  single consolidated government which is made up of a former

19  county and one or more municipalities, consolidated pursuant

20  to the authority in s. 3, Art. VIII, or s. 6(e), Art. VIII of

21  the State Constitution, shall also be eligible to participate

22  under this chapter.  The consolidated government shall notify

23  the division when it has entered into an interlocal agreement

24  to provide fire services to a municipality within its

25  boundaries.  The municipality shall be authorized to pass an

26  ordinance levying the tax as provided in s. 175.101.  Upon

27  being provided copies of the interlocal agreement and the

28  municipal levying ordinance, the division is authorized to

29  distribute any premium taxes reported for the municipality to

30  the consolidated government as long as the interlocal

31  agreement is in effect.
