11  The Committee on Transportation offered the following:

13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 44, of the bill between lines 11 and 12,

15

16  insert:

17         Section 21.  Section 348.545 is created to read:

18         348.545 Improvement, bond financing authority for.--

19         Pursuant to s. 11 (f), Art. VII of the State

20  Constitution, the Legislature hereby approves for bond

21  financing by the Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway

22  Authority improvements to toll collection facilities,

23  interchanges to the legislatively approved expressway system,

24  and any other facility appurtenant, necessary, or incidental

25  to the approved system.  Subject to terms and conditions of

26  applicable revenue bond resolutions and covenants, such

27  financing may be in whole or in part by revenue bonds

28  currently issued, issued in the future, or by a combination of

29  such bonds.

  6         creating s. 348.545, F.S.; clarifying that the

  7         Tampa-Hillsborough county may use bond revenues

  8         to finance improvements to toll facilities,

  9         interchanges, and other facilities related to

10         the expressway system;
