  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the powers and duties of the

  3         Chief Financial Officer; expressing the

  4         Legislature's intent to enact legislation

  5         relating to the powers and duties of the Chief

  6         Financial Officer; providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9  

10         Section 1.  The Legislature intends to enact

11  legislation relating to the powers and duties of the Chief

12  Financial Officer.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect January 7, 2003.
