13 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
14 On page 38, between lines 17 and 18,
15
16 insert:
17 Section 25. Paragraph (d) of subsection (1) of section
18 322.212, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19 322.212 Unauthorized possession of, and other unlawful
20 acts in relation to, driver's license or identification
21 card.--
22 (1) It is unlawful for any person to:
23 (d) Knowingly sell, manufacture, or deliver, or
24 knowingly offer to sell, manufacture, or deliver, a blank,
25 forged, stolen, fictitious, counterfeit, or unlawfully issued
26 driver's license or identification card, or an instrument in
27 the similitude of a driver's license or identification card,
28 unless that person is authorized to do so by the department. A
29 violation of this section paragraph may be investigated by any
30 law enforcement agency, including the Division of Alcoholic
31 Beverages and Tobacco.

2 The term "driver's license" includes a driver's license
3 issued by the department or its agents or a driver's license
4 issued by any state or jurisdiction that issues licenses
5 recognized in this state for the operation of a motor vehicle.
6 The term "identification card" includes any identification
7 card issued by the department or its agents or any
8 identification card issued by any state or jurisdiction that
9 issues identification cards recognized in this state for the
10 purpose of indicating a person's true name and age. This
11 subsection does not prohibit a person from possessing or
12 displaying another person's driver's license or identification
13 card for a lawful purpose.
