13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 5, between lines 6-7,
15  
16  insert:  
17         6.a.  In addition to the financial impact statement
18  required by this subsection, the Revenue Estimating Conference
19  shall draft an initiative financial information statement.
20  The initiative financial information statement should describe
21  in greater detail than the financial impact statement any
22  projected increase or decrease in revenues or costs that the
23  state or local governments would likely experience if the
24  ballot measure were approved.  Where appropriate, the
25  initiative financial information statement may include both
26  estimated dollar amounts and a description placing the
27  estimated dollar amounts into context.  The initiative
28  financial information statement must include both a summary of
29  not more than 500 words and more detailed information that
30  includes the assumptions that were made to develop the fiscal
31  impacts, work papers, and any other information deemed

 1  relevant by the Revenue Estimating Conference.
 2         b.  The Department of State shall have printed, and
 3  shall furnish to each supervisor of elections, a copy of the
 4  summary from the initiative financial information statement.
 5  The supervisors shall have the summary from the initiative
 6  financial information statement available at each polling
 7  place and at their main office upon request.
 8         c.  The Secretary of State shall make available on the
 9  Internet the entire initiative financial information
10  statement.  In addition, each supervisor of elections with a
11  web site shall post the summary from the initiative financial
12  information statement on their web site.
