14 On page 8, line 24, through
15 page 9, line 18, delete those lines
16
17 and insert:
18 Section 8. Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 are intended to be
19 remedial in nature and to clarify existing law and apply
20 retroactively to all actions, including any action on a lien
21 or bond claim initiated on or after or pending as of the
22 effective date of this act. If the retroactivity of any
23 provision of section 1, section 2, section 3, or section 4 or
24 its retroactive application to any person or circumstance is
25 held invalid, the invalidity does not affect the retroactivity
26 or retroactive application of other provisions of sections 1,
27 2, 3, and 4.
