14	Amendment to Amendment (284769) (with directory and title
15	amendments)
16	Between line(s) 72 and 73, insert:
17	(d) The authority shall inherit all rights, assets,
18	agreements, appropriations, privileges, and obligations of all
19	transit agencies in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties
20	upon approval of the respective governing bodies.
21	(e) If the authority acquires, purchases, operates,
22	condemns, or inherits an existing transit system, the authority
23	shall guarantee that the rights, privileges, benefits, and other
24	employee protective conditions and remedies as provided in 49
25	U.S.C. s. 5333(b), and arrangements made thereunder, shall apply
26	to transit employees affected by action of the authority
27	authorized under this act. Notwithstanding any other provision
28	of law, no action of the authority shall affect the rights of
29	existing transit employees to be represented by their exclusive
30	representatives under certifications issued pursuant to s.
31	447.307 as of July 1, 2003.
