15	Between lines 128 and 129, insert:
16	Section 2. Subsection (4) of section 624.406, Florida
17	Statutes, is amended to read:
18	624.406 Combinations of insuring powers, one insurer.--An
19	insurer which otherwise qualifies therefor may be authorized to
20	transact any one kind or combination of kinds of insurance as
21	defined in part V except:
22	(4) A health insurer may also transact excess insurance,
23	specific and aggregate, for self-insurers of a plan of health
24	insurance and multiple-employer welfare arrangements and
25	reinsurance for the medical and lost wages benefits provided
26	under a workers’ compensation insurance policy.
27	Section 3. Section 624.603, Florida Statutes, is amended
28	to read:
29	624.603 "Health insurance" defined.--"Health insurance,"
30	also known as "disability insurance," is insurance of human
31	beings against bodily injury, disablement, or death by accident
32	or accidental means, or the expense thereof, or against
33	disablement or expense resulting from sickness, and every
34	insurance appertaining thereto. Health insurance does not
35	include workers' compensation coverages, except as provided in
36	s. 624.406(4).
