  2         An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the
  3         University of Florida Institute of Food and
  4         Agricultural Sciences Relocation and
  5         Construction Trust Fund within the Department
  6         of Education without modification; carrying
  7         forward current balances and continuing current
  8         sources and uses thereof; providing an
  9         effective date.

11         WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
12  the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural
13  Sciences Relocation and Construction Trust Fund within the
14  Department of Education, which is otherwise scheduled to be
15  terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and
16         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the trust fund
17  before its scheduled termination date and has found that it
18  continues to meet an important public purpose, and
19         WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
20  policy concerning the trust fund sets adequate parameters for
21  its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

23  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
24  
25         Section 1.  (1)  The University of Florida Institute of
26  Food and Agricultural Sciences Relocation and Construction
27  Trust Fund within the Department of Education, FLAIR number
28  48-2-395, which is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f),
29  Article III of the State Constitution on November 4, 2004, is
30  re-created.

 1         (2)  All current balances of the trust fund are carried
 2  forward, and all current sources and uses of the trust fund
 3  are continued.
 4         Section 2.  This act shall take effect November 4,
 5  2004.
