14          Amendment to Amendment (355789) (with title amendment)
15          Between line(s) 233 and 234, insert:
16          Section 6. Paragraph (c) is added to subsection (2) of
17    section 316.006, Florida Statutes, to read:
18          316.006 Jurisdiction.--Jurisdiction to control traffic is
19    vested as follows:
20          (2) MUNICIPALITIES.--
21          (c) Notwithstanding other provisions of law to the
22    contrary, a municipality may, by interlocal agreement with a
23    county, agree to transfer traffic regulatory authority over
24    areas within the municipality to that county.
25         
26          This subsection shall not limit those counties which have the
27    charter powers to provide and regulate arterial, toll, and other
28    roads, bridges, tunnels, and related facilities from the proper
29    exercise of those powers by the placement and maintenance of
30    traffic control devices which conform to the manual and
31    specifications of the Department of Transportation on streets
32    and highways located within municipal boundaries.
33          Section 7. Paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of section
34    812.16, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
35          812.16 Operating chop shops; definitions; penalties;
36    restitution; forfeiture.--
37          (1) As used in this section, the term:
38          (b) "Major component part" means one of the following
39    subassemblies of a motor vehicle, regardless of its actual
40    market value: front-end assembly, including fenders, grills,
41    hood, bumper, and related parts; any airbag and airbag
42    assemblies;frame and frame assembly; engine; transmission; T-
43    tops; rear clip assembly, including quarter panels and floor
44    panel assembly; doors; and tires, tire wheels, and continuous
45    treads and other devices.
