14	Substitute Amendment for Amendment (953847) (with title
15	amendment)
16	Between lines 4900 and 4901, insert:
17	Section 33. There is created within the Department of
18	Financial Services the Workers' Compensation Exemption Task
19	Force to conduct a study with regard to allowing employers to
20	opt out of workers' compensation requirements in chapter 440 if
21	the employers provide health insurance and both short-term and
22	long-term disability income insurance. The task force shall be
23	composed of three members of the House of Representatives
24	appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, three
25	members of the Senate appointed by the President of the Senate,
26	three persons appointed by the Governor, and three persons
27	appointed by the Chief Financial Officer. The chair of the task
28	force shall be selected from among the membership by the Chief
29	Financial Officer. The task force shall report its findings on
30	or before November 1, 2003, to the Governor, the President of
31	the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the
32	Chief Financial Officer.
