| 1 | A bill to be entitled | ||
| 2 | An act relating to highway designations; designating | ||
| 3 | Howard E. Futch Memorial Highway in Brevard and Osceola | ||
| 4 | Counties; providing for the erection of markers; providing | ||
| 5 | for construction of the act in pari materia with laws | ||
| 6 | enacted during the 2003 Regular Session, the 2003 Special | ||
| 7 | Session A, or the 2003 Special Session B of the | ||
| 8 | Legislature; providing an effective date. | ||

| 10 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: | ||
| 11 | |||
| 12 | Section 1. "Howard E. Futch Memorial Highway" designated; | ||
| 13 | Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.-- | ||
| 14 | (1) That portion of U.S. Highway 192 from Interstate 95 in | ||
| 15 | Brevard County to St. Cloud in Osceola County is designated as | ||
| 16 | "Howard E. Futch Memorial Highway." | ||
| 17 | (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect | ||
| 18 | suitable markers designating Howard E. Futch Memorial Highway as | ||
| 19 | described in subsection (1). | ||
| 20 | Section 2. If any law amended by this act was also amended | ||
| 21 | by a law enacted at the 2003 Regular Session, the 2003 Special | ||
| 22 | Session A, or the 2003 Special Session B of the Legislature, | ||
| 23 | such laws shall be construed as if they had been enacted at the | ||
| 24 | same session of the Legislature, and full effect shall be given | ||
| 25 | to each if possible. | ||
| 26 | Section 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. | ||
