A bill to be entitled
2An act relating to the Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea and
3the Village of Sea Ranch Lakes, Broward County; clarifying
4and delineating the corporate limits of the Town of
5Lauderdale-By-The-Sea and the Village of Sea Ranch Lakes
6to include specified lands within said corporate limits;
7providing an effective date.

9Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
10
11     Section 1.  The present corporate limits of the Town of
12Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Broward County, Florida, are amended as
13follows:
14
15Beginning at the intersection of the south boundary
16line of Section 7, Township 49 South, Range 43 East
17with the centerline of the Intracoastal Waterway
18(Florida East Coast Canal), the POINT OF BEGINNING;
19THENCE in a northerly direction along the centerline
20of the Intracoastal Waterway to the intersection of
21said centerline with a line located twenty-five (25)
22feet south of and parallel to the north line of
23Section 7, Township 49 South, Range 43 East; THENCE in
24an easterly direction along a line located twenty-five
25(25) feet south of and parallel to the north line of
26said Section 7 to the intersection of said line with
27the east right-of-way line of the Intracoastal
28Waterway; THENCE in a northerly direction along the
29east right-of-way line of the Intracoastal Waterway to
30the intersection of said east right-of way line with
31the southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 16 of TERRA MAR
32ISLAND ESTATES, SECOND ADDITION, as recorded in Plat
33Book 31, Page 20 of the Public Records of Broward
34County, Florida; THENCE in an easterly direction along
35the south line of said Lot 1, Block 16 to the
36southeast corner of said Lot 1, Block 16; THENCE in a
37northerly direction along the east line of said Lot 1,
38Block 16 to the intersection of said east line with
39the westerly extension of the south line of Block 12
40of said TERRA MAR ISLAND ESTATES, SECOND ADDITION;
41THENCE in an easterly direction along the westerly
42extension of the south line of said Block 12, along
43the south line of said Block 12 and along an easterly
44extension of said south line to the intersection of
45said extended line with the west line of Lot 1, Block
4615 of said TERRA MAR ISLAND ESTATES, SECOND ADDITION;
47THENCE in a southerly direction along the west line of
48Lot 1, Block 15 and along the west line of Lot 10,
49Block 11 of TERRA MAR ISLAND ESTATES, FIRST ADDITION
50as recorded in Plat Book 31, Page 10 of the Public
51Records of Broward County, Florida to the southwest
52corner of said Lot 10, Block 11; THENCE in an easterly
53direction along the south line of said Lot 10, Block
5411 and along an easterly extension of said south line
55to the intersection of said extended line with the
56centerline of Spanish River; THENCE in a southerly
57direction along the centerline of the Spanish River to
58a point thirteen hundred and fifty (1,350) feet south
59of the north line of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE
601/4) of said Section 6, Township 49 South, Range 43
61East; THENCE in a southerly direction for two hundred
62(200) feet to a point on a line located fifteen
63hundred and fifty (1,550) feet south of and parallel
64to the north line of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE
651/4) of said Section 6, said point being eleven
66hundred, twenty-seven and forty-three-hundredths
67(1,127.43) feet east of the east right-of-way line of
68the Intracoastal Waterway; THENCE in an easterly
69direction along the line located fifteen hundred and
70fifty (1,550) feet south of and parallel to said north
71line of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE 1/4) of said

73east right-of-way line of State Road A-1-A; THENCE in
74a northerly direction along the east right-of-way line

83extended line with the Ordinary Low Watermark of the
84Atlantic Ocean; THENCE, continue in an easterly
85direction along said parallel line a distance of 3

87line with the eastern boundary of the State of
88Florida; THENCE in an southerly direction along said
89eastern boundary of the State of Florida to the
90intersection with a line located three hundred and
91eighty (380) feet north of and parallel to the south
92line of the Northeast One-Quarter (NE 1/4) of the
93Southeast One Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section 7, Township
9449 South, Range 43 East; THENCE in a westerly
95direction along said parallel line to the intersection
96of said line with the west right-of-way line of State
97Road A-1-A; THENCE in a northerly direction along the
98west right-of-way line of State Road A-1-A to the
99intersection of said west right-of-way line with the
100north line of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE 1/4) of

102a westerly direction along the north line of the
103Southeast One-Quarter (SE 1/4) and the Southwest One-

204Sea Ranch Lakes, Broward County, Florida, are amended as
205follows:

207That portion of the East One-Half (E 1/2) of Southwest
208Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 7, T49S, R43E, Broward
209County, Florida, lying East of the East R/W line of
210the Intracoastal Waterway; and, that portion of the
211Northwest Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter
212(SE 1/4) of the said Section 7 lying West of the West
213R/W line of Florida State Road A-I-A; and, that
214portion of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the
215Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of said Section 7 lying
216West of the West R/W line of Florida State Road A-1-A;
217and, those portions of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4)
218of Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4), said Section 7, and
