| 5 | Section 40. Notwithstanding and in addition to the |
| 6 | provisions of chapter 287, Florida Statutes, the Department of |
| 7 | Management Services and each agency may use call center |
| 8 | services. A call center provider as defined by law must meet the |
| 9 | following criteria for participation in providing call center |
| 10 | services to state or governmental agencies: |
| 11 | (1) The provider must engage the services of |
| 12 | developmentally disabled, disadvantaged workers or people who |
| 13 | are unable to work in a traditional workplace setting. |
| 14 | (2) The provider must provide the services at a cost less |
| 15 | than current costs. |
