| 1 | A bill to be entitled |
| 2 | An act relating to state purchase of agricultural |
| 3 | equipment; repealing s. 570.195, F.S., relating to |
| 4 | assistance to tobacco farmers; providing that unspent |
| 5 | balances attributable to the purchase of equipment |
| 6 | associated with the agricultural production of tobacco and |
| 7 | the resale of such equipment shall revert to the |
| 8 | Department of Financial Services Tobacco Settlement |
| 9 | Clearing Trust Fund; providing an effective date. |

| 11 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 12 |
|
| 13 | Section 1. Section 570.195, Florida Statutes, is repealed. |
| 14 | Section 2. Any unspent balances remaining in the General |
| 15 | Inspection Trust Fund of the Department of Agriculture and |
| 16 | Consumer Services attributable to the program established in s. |
| 17 | 570.195, Florida Statutes, are hereby reverted and shall be |
| 18 | deposited into the Department of Financial Services Tobacco |
| 19 | Settlement Clearing Trust Fund, the fund from which it was |
| 20 | appropriated. |
| 21 | Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2004. |
