14 On page 6, lines 13-16, delete those lines

16 and insert:
17 Section 3. Subsections (3) and (4) are added to
18 section 624.4622, Florida Statutes, to read:
19 624.4622 Local government self-insurance funds.--
20 (3) Notwithstanding subsection (2), a local government
21 self-insurance fund created under this section after October
22 1, 2004, shall initially be organized as a commercial
23 self-insurance fund under s. 624.462 or a group self-insurance
24 fund under s. 624.4621 and, for the first 5 years of its
25 existence, shall be subject to all the requirements applied to
26 commercial self-insurance funds or to group self-insurance
27 funds, respectively.

10 period, must comply with the requirements for
11 such a fund;
