14 On page 20, lines 5-8, delete those lines

16 and insert:
17 Section 9. Subsection (1) and (4) of section 400.211,
18 Florida Statutes, are amended to read:
19 400.211 Persons employed as nursing assistants;
20 certification requirement.--
21 (1) To serve as a nursing assistant in any nursing
22 home, a person must be certified as a nursing assistant under
23 part II of chapter 464, unless the person is a registered
24 nurse, a or practical nurse, or a certified geriatric
25 specialist certified or licensed in accordance with part I of
26 chapter 464 or an applicant for such licensure who is
27 permitted to practice nursing in accordance with rules adopted
28 by the Board of Nursing pursuant to part I of chapter 464.
