| 9 | annual use fees received from the sale of such plates; |
| 10 | requiring an advisory board to review such distributions; |
| 11 | providing an effective date. |

| 13 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 14 |
|
| 15 | Section 1. Paragraph (ss) is added to subsection (4) of |
| 16 | section 320.08056, Florida Statutes, to read: |
| 17 | 320.08056 Specialty license plates.-- |
| 18 | (4) The following license plate annual use fees shall be |
| 19 | collected for the appropriate specialty license plates: |
| 20 | (ss) Florida Food Banks license plate, $25. |
| 21 | Section 2. Subsection (45) is added to section 320.08058, |
| 22 | Florida Statutes, to read: |
| 23 | 320.08058 Specialty license plates.-- |
| 24 | (45) FLORIDA FOOD BANKS LICENSE PLATES.-- |
| 25 | (a) The department shall develop a Florida Food Banks |
| 26 | license plate as provided in this section. The word "Florida" |
| 27 | must appear at the bottom of the plate, and the word "Imagine" |
| 28 | must appear at the top of the plate. |
| 29 | (b) The annual use fees shall be distributed to the |
| 30 | Florida Association of Food Banks, Inc., which may use up to 25 |
| 31 | percent of the proceeds to market the organization's concept and |
| 32 | the license plate. The remaining funds shall be used by the |
| 33 | Florida Association of Food Banks, Inc., for programs to end |
| 34 | hunger in this state. |
| 35 | (c) An advisory board composed of a representative of each |
| 36 | member of the Florida Association of Food Banks, Inc., shall |
| 37 | review the distribution of funds by the association. |
| 38 | Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2004. |
