3	Amendment (with title amendment)
4	Remove everything after the enacting clause and insert:
5	Section 1.  Section 985.2155, Florida Statutes, is created
6	to read:
7	985.2155  Shared county and state responsibility for
8	juvenile detention.--It is the policy of this state that the
9	state and the counties have a joint obligation, as provided in
10	this section, to contribute to the financial support of the
11	detention care provided for juveniles.
12	Section 2.  This act shall take effect October 1, 2004.

16	Remove the entire title and insert:
17	A bill to be entitled
18	An act relating to shared county and state responsibility
19	for juvenile detention; creating s. 985.2155, F.S.;
20	providing that it is the policy of the state that the
21	state and counties have a joint obligation to financially
22	support the detention care provided for juveniles;
23	providing an effective date.
