633.702, F.S.; providing a criminal penalty for |

installing, servicing, testing, repairing, improving, or |

inspecting a fire alarm system without a license; |

providing an effective date. |

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
|

|
|

Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subsection (3) of section |
|
11
|
633.702, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: |
|
12
|
633.702 Prohibited acts regarding alarm system contractors |
|
13
|
or certified unlimited electrical contractors; penalties.-- |
|
14
|
(3) It is a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as |
|
15
|
provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083, for any fire alarm system |
|
16
|
contractor or certified unlimited electrical contractor to |
|
17
|
intentionally or willfully: |
|

|
(b) ImproperlyInstall, service, test, repair, improve, or |
|
19
|
inspect a fire alarm system without being licensed under part II |
|
20
|
of chapter 489. |
|

|
Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. |
