  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to Indian gaming activities;

  3         providing for ratification of Tribal-State

  4         compacts by the Legislature; providing an

  5         effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8  

  9         Section 1.  Any Tribal-State compact relating to gaming

10  activities which is entered into by an Indian tribe in this

11  state and the Governor pursuant to the Indian Gaming

12  Regulatory Act, 25 U.S.C. s. 2701 et seq., must be conditioned

13  upon ratification by the Legislature.

14         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

15  law.
