| 1 | A bill to be entitled |
| 2 | An act relating to the Dedicated License Trust Fund; re- |
| 3 | creating the Dedicated License Trust Fund within the Fish |
| 4 | and Wildlife Conservation Commission without modification; |
| 5 | carrying forward current balances and continuing current |
| 6 | sources and uses thereof; providing an effective date. |

| 8 | WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of the |
| 9 | Dedicated License Trust Fund within the Fish and Wildlife |
| 10 | Conservation Commission, which is otherwise scheduled to be |
| 11 | terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and |
| 12 | WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the trust fund before |
| 13 | its scheduled termination date and has found that it continues |
| 14 | to meet an important public purpose, and |
| 15 | WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public |
| 16 | policy concerning the trust fund sets adequate parameters for |
| 17 | its use, NOW, THEREFORE, |

| 19 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 20 |
|
| 21 | Section 1. (1) The Dedicated License Trust Fund within |
| 22 | the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, FLAIR number 77- |
| 23 | 2-158, which is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), |
| 24 | Article III of the State Constitution on November 4, 2008, is |
| 25 | re-created. |
| 26 | (2) All current balances of the trust fund are carried |
| 27 | forward, and all current sources and uses of the trust fund are |
| 28 | continued. |
| 29 | Section 2. This act shall take effect November 4, 2008. |
