11  The Committee on Health Care (Atwater) recommended the
12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 13, lines 11-16, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  diseases as required by rule of the department.
18  Each pregnant woman shall be notified of the tests that will
19  be conducted and of her right to refuse testing. If a woman
20  objects to testing, a written statement of objection, signed
21  by the woman, shall be placed in the woman's medical record
22  and no testing shall occur.
