17 Section 1. Subsection (2) of section 624.155, Florida
18 Statutes, is amended to read:
19 624.155 Civil remedy.--
20 (2) Any party may bring a civil action against any
21 person acting as an unauthorized insurer without a certificate
22 of authority if the such party is damaged by a violation of s.
23 624.401 by that person the unauthorized insurer.
