11  The Committee on Criminal Justice (Smith) recommended the
12  following amendment to amendment (773222):

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 2, lines 22-27, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  
18         (3)  The lease or tenancy shall continue in all
19  respects to the terms and conditions of the lease except that
20  the victim shall be released from all future obligations of
21  the lease; however, all tenants including the victim, the
22  respondent, and other tenants are responsible for any damages
23  that exceed ordinary wear and tear, excluding those damages
24  incurred as result of any incident of domestic abuse, in which
25  case, the cost shall be the sole responsibility of the
26  respondent. Nothing in this paragraph shall be interpreted to
27  impair the right of any landlord to evict any tenant in
28  accordance with any terms and conditions set forth that
29  provide for eviction in the event of a tenant participating in
30  unlawful activity.
