12  Appropriations (Sebesta and Margolis) recommended the
13  following amendment:

15         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
16         On page 5, line 26, through page 6, line 13, delete
17  those lines
18  
19  and insert:  
20         (2)(a)  Upon petition filed by the obligor in the
21  circuit court within 20 days after the mailing date of the
22  notice, the court may, in its discretion, direct the
23  department to issue a license for driving privileges
24  restricted to business purposes only, as defined by s.
25  322.271, if the person is otherwise qualified for such a
26  license. As a condition for the court to exercise its
27  discretion under this subsection, the obligor must agree to a
28  schedule of payment on any child support arrearages and to
29  maintain current child support obligations.
30         (b)  The obligor must serve a copy of the petition on
31  the Title IV-D agency in IV-D cases or on the depository or

When an obligor timely 2 files a petition to set aside a suspension, the court must 3 hear the matter within 15 days after the petition is filed. 4 The court must enter an order resolving the matter within 10 5 days after the hearing, and a copy of the order must be served 6 on the parties.
