11  The Committee on Ways and Means (Atwater) recommended the
12  following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 78, line 26 through page 79, line 7, delete
16  those lines
17  
18  and insert:  
19         Section 14.  The recurring sums of $850,000 from the
20  General Revenue Fund and $850,000 from the Administrative
21  Trust Fund are appropriated to the Agency for Health Care
22  Administration for the purpose of contracting with a vendor to
23  monitor and evaluate the clinical practice patterns of
24  providers and provide information to improve patient care and
25  reduce utilization as established in section 1 of this act
26  during the 2005-2006 fiscal year.
27         Section 15.  The recurring sums of $1,100,000 from the
28  General Revenue Fund and $1,100,000 from the Administrative
29  Trust Fund are appropriated to the Agency for Health Care
30  Administration for the purpose of contracting with a vendor to
31  design a web-based database to allow providers to review

The nonrecurring sums of $7,500,000 from 6 the General Revenue Fund and $7,500,000 from the 7 Administrative Trust Fund are appropriated to the Agency for 8 Health Care Administration for the purpose for developing 9 infrastructure and administrative resources necessary to 10 develop the capitated managed care pilot program established 11 in section 2 of this act during the 2005-2006 fiscal year. 12 Section 17.
