11  The Committee on Government Efficiency Appropriations
12  (Haridopolos) recommended the following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 17, between lines 30 and 31,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 15.  Paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section
19  500.12, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
20         500.12  Food permits; building permits.--
21         (1)(a)  A food permit from the department is required
22  of any person who operates a food establishment or retail food
23  store, except:
24         1.  Persons operating minor food outlets, including,
25  but not limited to, video stores, that sell commercially
26  prepackaged, nonpotentially hazardous candy, chewing gum,
27  soda, or popcorn, provided the shelf space for those items
28  does not exceed 12 linear feet and no other food is sold by
29  the minor food outlet.
30         2.  Persons subject to continuous, onsite federal or
31  state inspection.

Persons selling sugar cane or sorghum syrup that 4 has been boiled and bottled on a premise located within the 5 state.
