  1                        Senate Resolution

  2         A resolution expressing appreciation to Sherry

  3         Plymale for her leadership in public service.

  4  

  5         WHEREAS, Sherry Plymale has a long and distinguished

  6  record of dedicated public service to the people of Florida,

  7  and

  8         WHEREAS, Sherry Plymale has given generously of her

  9  time, talents, and expertise to bring Florida's system of

10  public education to new levels of efficiency, effectiveness,

11  and accountability, and

12         WHEREAS, Sherry Plymale has played an important

13  personal role in the governance of Florida's public

14  universities through her exemplary service as vice chair and

15  chair of the Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees,

16  and

17         WHEREAS, Sherry Plymale has over a period of many years

18  shown herself to be dedicated to the betterment of the State

19  of Florida through her valuable contributions to Leadership

20  Florida, the Florida Chamber of Commerce, the Florida Board of

21  Community Colleges, the Healthy Kids Corporation, and other

22  organizations operating in the public interest, NOW,

23  THEREFORE,

25  Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida:

26  

27         That the Senate offers sincere thanks to Sherry Plymale

28  for her dedicated, effective, and untiring public service

29  work, which has made a real difference in the lives of

30  countless Floridians.

 1         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution,
