  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to Broward County, Florida;

  3         requiring the Property Appraiser of Broward

  4         County to forward a copy of the findings of the

  5         Florida Department of Revenue regarding the

  6         Broward County Assessment Rolls to the Mayor of

  7         Broward County, each county commissioner, and

  8         the county auditor; providing an effective

  9         date.

11  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

13         Section 1.  The Property Appraiser of Broward County

14  shall, within 90 days after receipt of the findings of the

15  Florida Department of Revenue regarding the Broward County

16  Assessment Rolls, forward a copy of the findings to the Mayor

17  of Broward County, each county commissioner, and the county

18  auditor. The results furnished to the Mayor of Broward County,

19  each county commissioner, and the county auditor shall include

20  the same results as furnished to the county property

21  appraiser, such as all statistical and analytical measures

22  computed for the real property assessment roll as a whole, the

23  personal property assessment roll as a whole, and,

24  independently for the real property classes and subclasses

25  studied, results of any audit or review of procedures used by

26  the county property appraiser, and, if Broward County is not

27  being studied in the current year, any value-weighted mean

28  levels of assessment projected for that year pursuant to state

29  law.

30         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

31  law.
