1	A bill to be entitled
2	An act relating to travel-limited life insurance coverage;
3	providing a purpose; specifying prohibited activities by
4	insurers for life insurance coverage relating to lawful
5	travel experiences; providing an effective date.

7	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

9	Section 1.  (1)  The purpose of this act is to prohibit a
10	life insurance company from refusing to insure, refusing to
11	continue to insure, limiting the amount, extent, or kind of
12	coverage available to an individual, or charging an individual a
13	different rate for the same coverage solely for reasons
14	associated with an applicant's or insured's past or future
15	lawful travel experiences.
16	(2)  An insurer may not refuse to insure, refuse to
17	continue to insure, limit the amount, extent, or kind of life
18	insurance coverage available to an individual, or charge an
19	individual a different rate for the same coverage solely for
20	reasons associated with an applicant's or insured's past or
21	future lawful travel experiences.
22	Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.
