12 following amendment:

15 On page 17, line 12, through
16 page 18, line 7, delete those lines

18 and insert:
19 Section 10. Subsections (3) and (7) of section
20 744.331, Florida Statutes, are amended, and paragraph (c) is
21 added to subsection (2) of that section, to read:
22 744.331 Procedures to determine incapacity.--
23 (2) ATTORNEY FOR THE ALLEGED INCAPACITATED PERSON.--
24 (c) Effective January 1, 2007, an attorney seeking to
25 be appointed by a court for incapacity and guardianship
26 proceedings must have completed a minimum of 8 hours of
27 education in guardianship. A court may waive the initial
28 training requirement for an attorney who has served as a
29 court-appointed attorney in incapacity proceedings or as an
30 attorney of record for guardians for not less than 3 years.
