3     Amendment to Amendment (960133) (with title amendment)
4Remove lines 151-163 and insert:
5     (3)(a)  In any election, a committee of continuous
6existence, organization that is exempt from taxation under s.
7527 of the Internal Revenue Code other than a political party or
8political committee supporting or opposing issues, or
9electioneering communications organization may not accept
10contributions in excess of $500 from an individual or group if,
11during the current election period ending on the date of the
12next general election:
13     1.  The committee or organization, directly or indirectly
14through one or more intermediaries, reimburses or pays for any
15travel expenses of the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, any
16member of the Cabinet, any state legislator, any candidate for
17such offices, an employee or agent of the officer or candidate,
18or a member of the officer or candidate's immediate family; and
19     2.  Any individual specified in subparagraph 1.
20establishes, maintains or controls such committee or
21organization.
22     (b)  In any election, if a committee of continuous
23existence, organization that is exempt from taxation under s.
24527 of the Internal Revenue Code other than a political party or
25political committee supporting or opposing issues, or
26electioneering communications organization accepts contributions
27in excess of $500 after July 1, 2006, from an individual or
28group, the committee or organization may not reimburse or pay
29for any travel expenses of the individuals specified in
30subparagraph (a)1. who establish, maintain  or control the
31committee or organization.
