| 8 | (4)(a)  A slot machine licensee may not accept or cash any | 
| 9 | personal, third-party, corporate, business, or government-issued | 
| 10 | check from any person within the designated slot machine gaming | 
| 11 | areas of a facility of a slot machine licensee. | 
| 12 | (b)  Except as provided in paragraph (c) for employees of | 
| 13 | the facility, a slot machine licensee or operator shall not | 
| 14 | accept or cash for any person within the property of the | 
| 15 | facility any government-issued check, third party check, or | 
| 16 | payroll check made payable to an individual. | 
| 17 | (c)  Outside the designated slot machine gaming areas, a | 
| 18 | slot machine licensee or operator may accept or cash a check for | 
| 19 | an employee of the facility who is prohibited from wagering on a | 
| 20 | slot machine under s. 551.108(5), a check made directly payable | 
| 21 | to a person licensed by the division, or a check made directly | 
| 22 | payable to the slot machine licensee or operator from: | 
| 23 | 1.  A pari-mutuel patron; or | 
| 24 | 2.  A pari-mutuel facility in this state or in another | 
| 25 | state. | 
| 26 | (d)  Unless accepting or cashing a check is prohibited by | 
| 27 | this subsection, nothing shall prohibit a slot machine licensee | 
| 28 | or operator from accepting and depositing in its accounts checks | 
| 29 | received in the normal course of business. |
