| 7 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 8 |

| 9 | Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subsection (5) of section |
| 10 | 810.011, Florida Statutes, is amended, and subsection (13) is |
| 11 | added to that section, to read: |
| 12 | 810.011 Definitions.--As used in this chapter: |
| 13 | (5)(a) "Posted land" is that land upon which signs are |
| 14 | placed not more than 500 feet apart along, and at each corner |
| 15 | of, the boundaries of the land, upon which signs there appears |
| 16 | prominently, in letters of not less than 2 inches in height, the |
| 17 | words "no trespassing" and in addition thereto the name of the |
| 18 | owner, lessee, or occupant of said land. Said signs shall be |
| 19 | placed along the boundary line of posted land in a manner and in |
| 20 | such position as to be clearly noticeable from outside the |
| 21 | boundary line. However, if the property is a construction site |
| 22 | less than 1 acre in area, only one such sign is required. Such |
| 23 | sign must be placed at the location of the permits for the |
| 24 | construction. |
| 25 | (13) "Construction site" means any property upon which |
| 26 | there is construction that is subject to building permit posting |
| 27 | requirements. |
| 28 | Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2007. |
