11 The Committee on Health Policy (Saunders) recommended the
12 following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 3, lines 1-12, delete those lines
16
17 and insert:
18 Section 2. Subsection (2) of section 381.0605, Florida
19 Statutes, is amended to read:
20 381.0605 Survey of state hospital facilities; Agency
21 for Health Care Administration.--
22 (2) The Governor is authorized to provide for carrying
23 out such purposes in accordance with the standards prescribed
24 by the Surgeon General of the United States.
25 Section 3. The Division of Statutory Revision of the
26 Office of Legislative Services shall change "Secretary of
27 Health" or "Secretary of the Department of Health" to "State
28 Surgeon General" and change "secretary," with respect to that
29 department, to "State Surgeon General" wherever the same
30 appears in Florida Statutes.
31 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 2007.

12 to the Surgeon General within the Florida
13 Statutes;
