17 Section 14. Subsection (5) is added to section
18 1001.23, Florida Statutes, to read:
19 1001.23 Specific powers and duties of the Department
20 of Education.--In addition to all other duties assigned to it
21 by law or by rule of the State Board of Education, the
22 department shall:
23 (5) Notify parents of all eligible students about the
24 scholarship programs in chapter 1002 and s. 220.187.
