| 13 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |

| 15 | Section 1. Section 15.0526, Florida Statutes, is created |
| 16 | to read: |
| 17 | 15.0526 Official state horse.-- |
| 18 | (1) The Florida Cracker Horse (Marshtackie) is designated |
| 19 | as the official Florida state horse. |
| 20 | (2) This section is repealed July 1, 2018, unless reviewed |
| 21 | and reenacted by the Legislature before that date. |
| 22 | Section 2. Section 15.0381, Florida Statutes, is created |
| 23 | to read: |
| 24 | 15.0381 Official state coastal aquatic bird.-- |
| 25 | (1) The brown pelican is designated as the official |
| 26 | Florida state coastal aquatic bird. |
| 27 | (2) This section is repealed July 1, 2018, unless reviewed |
| 28 | and reenacted by the legislature before that date. |
| 29 | Section 3. Section 15.0386, Florida Statutes, is created |
| 30 | to read: |
| 31 | 15.0386 Official state saltwater reptile.-- |
| 32 | (1) The loggerhead turtle is designated as the official |
| 33 | Florida state saltwater reptile. |
| 34 | (2) This section is repealed July 1, 2018, unless reviewed |
| 35 | and reenacted by the Legislature before that date. |
| 36 | Section 4. Section 15.0387, Florida Statutes, is created |
| 37 | to read: |
| 38 | 15.0387 Official state amphibian.-- |
| 39 | (1) The gopher frog is designated as the official Florida |
| 40 | state amphibian. |
| 41 | (2) This section is repealed July 1, 2018, unless reviewed |
| 42 | and reenacted by the Legislature before that date. |
| 43 | Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 2008. |
