     Section 1. An officer or employee who participates in the

Florida Retirement System and who subsequently retires from his

or her office or position and receives a distribution from the

Florida Retirement System may not be reemployed or elected to,

14

the same office or position. If such person is reemployed or

15

elected to a different position or office, his or her annual

16

salary may not exceed $30,000 per year.
