1	A bill to be entitled
2	An act relating to administrative leave for voting;
3	creating s. 110.1175, F.S.; authorizing 2 hours of
4	administrative leave for a state employee to vote in a
5	general presidential election; providing an effective
6	date.

8	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10	Section 1. Section 110.1175, Florida Statutes, is created
11	to read:
12	110.1175  Administrative leave for voting in presidential
13	elections.--Each full-time employee of the state is entitled to
14	2 hours of administrative leave with pay for the purpose of
15	voting in a general presidential election. The leave may be
16	granted at any time during the early voting period or on
17	election day.
18	Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2008.
