and insert:

     (2) This part act does not:

9

     (a) Require an additional license of, or regulate the

10

practice of, any other licensed health care professional within

11

the state;

12

     (b) Prevent a qualified employee of a physician from

13

measuring, fitting, or adjusting an orthotic device under the

14

supervision of a physician or other licensed health care

15

professional; or

16

     (c) Prevent a qualified employee or other authorized

17

representative of a manufacturer of orthotic devices regulated by

18

the Food and Drug Administration from measuring, fitting, or

19

adjusting an orthotic device made by such manufacturer under the

20

supervision of a physician or other licensed health care

21

professional, or prevent a qualified member of any other

22

profession or any person employed under the supervision of such a

23

licensed professional from doing work of a nature consistent with

24

that person's training, as long as the person does not hold

25

himself or herself out to the public as a licensee under this

26

act.
