     Between lines 2217 and 2218,

insert:

     Section 21.  Present subsection (9) of section 718.5012,

Florida Statutes, is renumbered as subsection (10) and a new

8

subsection (9) is added to that section, to read:

     718.5012  Ombudsman; powers and duties.--The ombudsman shall

10

have the powers that are necessary to carry out the duties of his

11

or her office, including the following specific powers:

     (9) To assist with the resolution of disputes between unit

13

owners and the association or between unit owners when the

14

dispute is not within the jurisdiction of the division to

15

resolve.
