     Section 5.  Subsection (3) is added to section 627.901,

Florida Statutes, to read:

     627.901  Premium financing by an insurance agent or

agency.--

     (3) The agent may also impose a service charge for

12

processing, as a convenience and accommodation to the insured, a

13

premium installment payment to an insurance company or premium

14

finance company which the insured could have made directly. The

15

agent may not collect more than one service charge on any one

16

payment.
