| 13 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 14 |

| 15 | Section 1. Subsection (15) is added to section 311.125, |
| 16 | Florida Statutes, to read: |
| 17 | 311.125 Uniform Port Access Credential System.-- |
| 18 | (15) Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, the |
| 19 | Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles may designate |
| 20 | the United States Transportation Security Administration's |
| 21 | Transportation Worker Identification Credential card as the |
| 22 | Uniform Port Access Credential Card. The department may set and |
| 23 | collect a fee for entering a Transportation Worker |
| 24 | Identification Credential cardholder into the Uniform Port |
| 25 | Access Credential System. This fee may not exceed the actual |
| 26 | cost to the department. The department is granted rulemaking |
| 27 | authority to implement the provisions of this section. The |
| 28 | department may develop an affidavit which may be required for |
| 29 | criminal history checks pursuant to s. 311.12. |
| 30 | Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. |
