       The Committee on Health and Human Services Appropriations
       (Peaden) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment

    3         Delete lines 57 - 60
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 3. Subsection (18) and subsections (31) through
    6  (54) of section 499.003, Florida Statutes, are amended to read:
    7         499.003 Definitions of terms used in this part.—As used in
    8  this part, the term:
    9         (18) “Drop shipment” means the sale of a prescription drug
   10  from a manufacturer or the manufacturer’s distributor to a
   11  wholesale distributor, where the wholesale distributor takes
   12  title to, but not possession of, the prescription drug, and the
   13  manufacturer of the prescription drug, the manufacturer’s
   14  distributor, or the manufacturer’s third-party logistics
   15  provider ships the prescription drug directly to a chain
   16  pharmacy warehouse or a person authorized by law to purchase
   17  prescription drugs for the purpose of administering or
   18  dispensing the drug, as defined in s. 465.003.
