       Senator King moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Delete line 266
    4  and insert:
    5         (6)If Congress enacts a requirement that any portion of an
    6  electric utility’s energy sales, demand or other measures of the
    7  provision of electricity to its customers, be derived from
    8  renewable energy, however defined, either produced by the
    9  electric utility itself or purchased from another source, or
   10  through credits purchased to comply in whole or in part with
   11  such provisions, subsections (1)-(5) shall stand repealed unless
   12  reviewed and saved from repeal through reenactment by the
   13  Legislature.
   14         (7)(4) In order to demonstrate the feasibility and

   17         And the title is amended as follows:
   18         Delete line 12
   19  and insert:
   20         to the Legislature; providing for repeal of certain
   21         provisions upon the enactment of a federal requirement
   22         that any portion of an electric utility’s energy
   23         sales, demand or other measures of the provision of
   24         electricity to its customers, be derived from
   25         renewable energy, unless reviewed and reenacted by the
   26         Legislature; amending s. 366.93, F.S.;
