       Senator Gaetz moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 89
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 2. The term of any person sitting as a member of
    6  the Florida Energy and Climate Commission on March 3, 2009,
    7  whose appointment is not confirmed by the Senate during the 2009
    8  Regular Session or the 2010 Regular Session, shall be extended
    9  until completion of the 2010 Regular Session, except for any
   10  member who, during that time, the Senate expressly refuses to
   11  confirm.
   12         Section 3. The Florida Energy and Climate Commission must
   13  obtain the approval of the joint Legislative Budget Commission
   14  before spending or disbursing any funds received from the
   15  federal government as part of a federal stimulus package.
   16         Section 4. This act shall take effect upon becoming law.

   20         And the title is amended as follows:
   21         Before line 9
   22  insert:
   23         providing that if a specified commissioner of the Florida
   24  Energy and Climate Commission is not confirmed during the 2009
   25  Regular Session or the 2010 Regular Session, the commissioner’s
   26  appointment shall be extended until May 1, 2010, except for any
   27  member who, during that time, the Senate expressly refuses to
   28  confirm; requiring the Florida Energy and Climate Commission to
   29  obtain the approval of the joint Legislative Budget Commission
   30  before spending or disbursing any funds received from the
   31  federal government as part of a federal stimulus package;
