       The Committee on Regulated Industries (Jones) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 99 - 104
    4  and insert:
    5         (5) The division shall use at least 68 percent of the funds
    6  collected under subsection (2) for programs directed to careers
    7  in the restaurant industry and at least 14 percent of the funds
    8  for programs directed to careers in the lodging industry. If the
    9  division does not receive a sufficient number of grant
   10  applications, which are submitted timely and comply with the
   11  division’s requirements, to use all of the funds reserved for
   12  programs directed to careers in one of the industries, the
   13  division may use the remaining funds for programs directed to
   14  careers in the other industry. The division may use up to 10
   15  percent of the funds collected under subsection (2)for its costs
   16  to administer the program.
